Once completed, they were lavishly long, flirtateously curved, and most importantly, completely invisible to unsuspecting witnesses (my eagle-eyed husband hadn't a clue). The best part? My set lasted well over a month, even when I was pool-hopping everyday on honeymoon. Fabulash!

Hey Aparna! Thanks for reading my blog and for your great question! In my experience, the extensions did make real lashes feel slightly more brittle after a few weeks. Your actual lashes continue to grow with the extensions attached, so as the extensions begin to fall out, you might lose a few real ones too (nothing major!). Soul recommended I use a clear lash conditioner daily to help keep my real lashes moisturized. Shu Uemura makes one and so does Global Goddess (both at Sephora). That definitely improved the comfort level. Once the falsies had fallen out, I switched to an ultra-nourishing mascara by Josie Maran (available at Sephora). It contains jojoba oil to condition lashes as it imparts pigment. I think that helped strengthen my natural lashes once the extensions were gone.
Overall, I loved the look of the fakes, but I wouldn't recommend doing them regularly. Maybe just for really special occassions where you don't want to have to think about eye makeup...
